Position Location and Working Hours
This role is based at Radius Glaisdale, located at 50 Hare Puke Drive, Flagstaff, Hamilton. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday through Friday.
Role Overview
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to step into the role of Clinical Nurse Manager. This leadership position involves overseeing clinical services, ensuring the delivery of top-quality care, and providing guidance and support to the nursing team within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical operations and uphold best practice standards continuously.
- Manage nursing staff through education, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Disability Sector Standards as well as internal Radius policies.
- Prepare and assist in internal and external audits to maintain certification standards.
- Cultivate strong relationships with residents, their families, and partnering health professionals.
- Supervise health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years experience in aged care preferred.
- A Nursing Degree with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- InterRAI assessment training is required.
- Previous clinical or managerial experience in a continuing care hospital setting.
- Skills in management and administration.
- Proficiency in clinical administration software, electronic health records systems, and general IT tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards elderly clients and their families.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
