About the Role
IQVIA is expanding its Clinical Data Management team and is seeking experienced Clinical Data Management Leads for both Functional Service Provider and traditional delivery models. This fully remote position involves managing end-to-end data management for complex global clinical trials, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and accuracy in data handling. IQVIA provides all necessary equipment for this work-from-home role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data management activities from initial study setup through to database lock for large, global clinical studies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all data management deliverables and communications.
- Manage reconciliation and database deployment of Serious Adverse Events (SAE), Pharmacokinetic (PK), and external data sources.
- Oversee project timelines, budget adherence, and resource planning to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data management personnel, encouraging adherence to best practices.
- Implement process improvements while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field such as life sciences, health sciences, clinical, biological, or mathematics.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical data management with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Previous job titles may include Clinical Data Manager, Senior Clinical Data Manager, Lead Data Manager, Principal Data Manager, or Data Management Project Manager.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale global studies involving over 1000 patients.
- Hands-on experience with electronic data capture systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines, and clinical research processes.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
