Key responsibilities

• Evaluate business and client needs, then design, build, test, and launch tailored reporting solutions.
• Create automated and self-serve reporting tools that make accurate, timely information easier to access.
• Work with data, software, technical account management, and operations teams to clarify requirements and solve reporting issues.
• Estimate work, create timelines, plan development tasks, and follow progress across multiple projects.
• Track reporting systems, investigate data problems, and put effective fixes in place.
• Develop and refine dashboards, workflows, and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Interpret data structures, data transformations, and relationships to preserve reporting accuracy.
• Assist with change management activities such as documentation, user training, and go-live support.
• Help establish reporting standards, validation checks, and best practices that strengthen data quality.
• Use tools such as Alteryx, SQL Server, Snowflake, Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets to deliver analytical outputs.
• Support client-facing initiatives with urgency and a strong commitment to service quality.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis or a closely related analytical position.
• 1 to 3 years of exposure to project management support or coordination tasks.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methods and reporting practices.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization, reporting, and automation tools.
• Advanced SQL skills, along with familiarity with SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage several priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-moving setting.
• A solution-oriented approach with an interest in improving processes and removing inefficiencies.
• Strong communication, active listening, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in complex data environments.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and understand cross-functional workflows.
• Experience spotting opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Payroll or entertainment industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
