Position Overview

The University of Staffordshire is seeking committed Cleaning Operatives to join its Cleaning Team at the Student Hub located on the Stoke Campus. This bustling facility is crucial to campus life, offering students a space for socialising, studying, and accessing a variety of support services. The role involves maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness across the Student Hub and its communal areas.
• Maintain facilities to provide a safe and inviting environment for all users.
• Perform diverse cleaning tasks essential to the daily functionality of the building.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver outstanding cleaning services.

Working Hours and Patterns

The University offers both full-time and part-time positions with the following schedules:

• Full-Time: 37 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:00am–2:00pm or 12:00pm–8:00pm. Flexibility to work across both shifts is required.
• Part-Time: 15 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:00am–9:00am or 5:00pm–8:00pm. Applicants must be flexible to cover both shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of £24,520 pro rata.
