Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Cleaners to join our team at a retail site on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The role suits individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining clean, inviting environments for clients and customers. Positions are casual with shifts available on both weekdays and weekends. Compensation follows award wage standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute general cleaning tasks to maintain high standards.
- Perform spot cleaning on furnishings.
- Sweep and mop floors regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
- Clean glass surfaces internally and externally.
- Dust all hard surfaces thoroughly.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments preferred.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
- Capacity to follow directions and work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong customer service aptitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including public holidays when necessary.
- Experience operating floor care machinery like scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is advantageous.
- Must possess valid work authorization for Australia.
