Job Overview

Wheeler Trucking Inc is seeking experienced Over the Road (OTR) truck drivers holding a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team based in Deh Now, Parwan Province, Afghanistan. This role requires extended periods on the road with scheduled home time, adherence to federal safety regulations, and possession of mandatory credentials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles on long haul routes requiring 12 to 14 days on the road between home visits.
• Comply with company's forced dispatch system to ensure timely delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of documented OTR driving experience with a Class A CDL.
• Registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse is mandatory prior to employment.
• Possession of a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card and a passport.
• Maintain a clean driving record and an acceptable Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) score.

Additional Information

Drivers will be required to spend 12 to 14 days on the road followed by 2 to 3 days of home time. All positions operate under forced dispatch policy, ensuring assigned routes and deliveries are strictly followed.
