About Team Global Express NZ
Team Global Express NZ provides comprehensive freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and logistics solutions throughout New Zealand, operating from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Class 5 Driver to join our Dunedin branch. The primary responsibility is to support one of our key customers by performing timely collections and deliveries with full compliance and safety. This role requires a Class 5 license with F and Dangerous Goods endorsements.
Working Hours and Location
This is a full-time onsite position based in Dunedin. The shift is Monday to Friday, starting at 6am, with approximately 40 to 50 hours of work per week.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload freight ensuring safety at all times.
- Handle freight carefully to prevent any damage.
- Scan all freight items, ensuring every touched item is scanned.
- Conduct timely and complete deliveries and pickups.
- Engage actively in all workplace safety procedures and processes.
- Operate your vehicle safely and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle both inside and out.
Applicant Requirements and Skills
- Possession of a clean, full New Zealand Class 5 Driver’s License is essential.
- Dangerous Goods endorsement is highly preferred.
- Forklift license with OSH certification is beneficial.
- A customer-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Experience driving on New Zealand roads is mandatory.
