Job description

Role Overview

This position involves accompanying a child with additional support needs during their commute to and from school as well as other locations. The role requires accompanying the child on and off transport, providing continuous supervision, and ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed at all times.

The role demands dedication to delivering high-quality service and a commitment to ongoing improvements for the benefit of both the service and the organization.

Contract Details

This is a fixed-term appointment, with employment lasting until no later than July 1, 2027.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • A minimum of one reference is required, preferably from the current or most recent employer.
  • This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • The selected candidate must join or update their membership with the PVG Scheme.
  • If the candidate has spent three continuous months or more outside the UK within the past five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary.
  • Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of these checks.
