About the Role
We are currently hiring a Chat Representative who will engage with customers via live chat to deliver prompt, knowledgeable assistance about loan products and services. This remote, full-time position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple chats efficiently while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Swiftly and courteously respond to customer questions through live chat.
- Explain loan offerings, eligibility criteria, application steps, and repayment options.
- Help customers complete loan applications and clarify account-related concerns.
- Confirm customer data while upholding confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
- Resolve basic customer issues or escalate more complex problems to relevant departments.
- Accurately log customer interactions in the CRM platform.
- Achieve targets related to response times, satisfaction levels, and quality benchmarks.
- Keep informed on product information, company policies, and regulatory standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service, live chat support, call center, or financial services is advantageous.
- Strong written communication, grammar, and typing proficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with keen attention to detail.
- Aptitude to operate effectively in a fast-paced setting handling concurrent conversations.
- Basic computer skills along with familiarity using CRM and chat software.
- Professional demeanor, empathy, and a customer-centric approach.
