Role Overview

The North American subsidiary, already possessing strong customer ties and a solid market presence, presents considerable growth opportunities. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially minded CEO / General Manager to lead the U.S. operations, enhance organizational structures, and drive future expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full accountability for the U.S. subsidiary encompassing sales, business development, marketing, application support, and operational activities.
  • Formulate and implement a sustainable growth strategy for the North American market in close coordination with international leadership.
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within high-tech and OEM sectors.
  • Hands-on leadership involving strategic management of key customers, partners, and distributors.
  • Expand and advance the local sales team through leadership, mentoring, and team development initiatives.
  • Boost the company’s reputation, market presence, and positioning within North America.
  • Ensure seamless cooperation between the U.S. entity and the European headquarters.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer demands, competition, and relevant technological advancements.

Qualifications and Profile

  • Entrepreneurial, growth-focused leader with practical, hands-on management skills; strong customer orientation and business development acumen.
  • Completed degree in engineering, physics, metrology, electrical engineering, business administration, or an equivalent field.
  • Several years in a leadership capacity within sales-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, market expansion, revenue growth, and strategic customer engagement in the U.S. market.
  • Experience working with OEM clients, technical applications, and consultative selling approaches.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in metrology, analytical instrumentation, sensing technologies, or related advanced technology sectors.
  • Background in medium-sized entrepreneurial companies and experience nurturing small to medium sales teams.
  • International exposure within European or global corporate settings is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across North America as required.
