About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet every customer with politeness and a friendly attitude.
• Efficiently manage all sales transactions, including the proper deactivation of merchandise as per the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Promote Walmart’s sponsored initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Support customers by assisting with bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work protocols, including correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Ensure the security and accuracy of the cash register through careful cash handling and compliance with company policies, staying vigilant of the surroundings.
• When necessary, direct specialized service or transaction inquiries to the Customer Service Manager.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older.
