About the Role
Sevita’s Mentor Community Services supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community-based services. This full-time, onsite Direct Support Professional role in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is centered on helping individuals build independence, confidence, and connection.
What You’ll Do
- Support individuals in working toward personal and developmental goals, including areas such as budgeting, nutrition, recreation, and community participation.
- Develop trusted relationships by serving as a mentor, advocate, and supportive companion.
- Bring initiative to your work and contribute ideas in an environment that values employee input.
- Encourage inclusion by helping people take part in community activities, events, and interests they enjoy.
- Assist with day-to-day living needs such as preparing meals, taking medication, personal care, and going on outings.
- Show patience and compassion while assisting with general support needs.

- Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management skills.
