Role Overview
Based in Toowoomba, Queensland, this role acts as the essential organizer and problem-solver behind the scenes, ensuring daily operations across multiple sites run efficiently. You will be the dependable point of contact who anticipates and addresses issues before they escalate, manages resources, and supports frontline teams so they can focus on their direct community work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure multiple locations remain operational, safe, and well-coordinated to enable effective service delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, such as maintenance needs or missing equipment, promptly following through to resolution.
- Coordinate repairs, liaise with landlords, tradespeople, and service providers to maintain facility functionality.
- Provide basic technical and systems support including equipment setup, access management, and asset tracking.
- Manage inventory by ordering supplies in advance and keeping records accurate and current.
- Support scheduling and organizational tasks to streamline daily operations.
- Respond swiftly and helpfully to colleagues’ needs, maintaining approachability and practical problem-solving.
Required Experience and Qualities
- Relevant background in administration, operational support, facilities coordination, or business support roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive nature with the aptitude to take initiative without direct instruction.
- Comfortable working across varied sites and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and similar business tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, approachable and practical in resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Possession of qualifications in administration, business support, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
Desirable Background
- Experience working in community services or not-for-profit environments.
- Experience coordinating activities across multiple locations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range from $76,372 to $80,265 annually, depending on experience.
- Superannuation contribution of 12% plus salary packaging benefits up to $15,900.
- Additional meal and entertainment packaging benefits valued at $2,650.
- Access to further salary packaging where eligible.
- Five days of wellness leave annually (pro-rata for part-time).
- Twelve weeks paid parental leave after 12 months of service.
