About the Role
This position sits within Salesforce’s sales organization and focuses on building new pipeline for two mission-driven verticals: public sector and .ORG, which includes non-profits and education institutions. The role is based at the European headquarters in Dublin and is centered on outbound prospecting, account research, and early-stage opportunity development with the aim of creating closed-won business.

The role includes structured training, coaching, and vertical-specific enablement to help you learn the sector and grow a career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build new sales pipeline mainly through outbound prospecting across public sector or .ORG accounts.
- Handle inbound leads that come from outbound campaigns and follow-up activity.
- Develop early-stage opportunities within government, local authority, non-profit, and education accounts.
- Use cold calling to create interest among existing customers and new accounts in your assigned territory.
- Work with account executives and other sellers to identify and create net-new pipeline.
- Research business units, buyer personas, and organizational structures in the public and social sectors.
- Coordinate with internal account teams supporting the public sector or .ORG business.
- Find decision-makers and budget owners while working through the procurement and approval processes common in public and non-profit organizations.
Required Profile
- Strong English fluency plus one additional language is required.
- A valid work visa for Ireland is required.
- Background in business development, sales, or a similar field is preferred.
- Interest in or exposure to public sector, non-profit, or education environments is an advantage.
- Ability to stay effective in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with account planning, research, prospecting, and cold calling into large account lists.
- Demonstrated history of meeting sales targets and achieving year-over-year quota results.
- A degree or equivalent practical experience is required, with evaluation based on leadership, military, volunteer, extracurricular, or work experience.
Training and Work Environment
