Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager focusing on Mexico and the Caribbean, you will be essential to accelerating our sales efforts, establishing strategic partnerships, and growing our client portfolio. You will nurture and solidify client relations and enhance our market presence locally. This position supports remote work for candidates located in Monterrey or Guadalajara, Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies to meet targets and broaden our footprint in the designated region.
  • Enroll new partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs, providing comprehensive training on our platform.
  • Build and sustain enduring relationships with both new and existing partners.
  • Manage assigned partner portfolios and deliver first-tier support.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions and explore opportunities to deepen cooperation with current partners.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, including handling documentation and technical configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial terms and manage payment processes with partners.
  • Commit approximately half of your working time to business travel, participating in client meetings, industry events, and related activities.
  • Perform market and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
  • Maintain detailed reporting using CRM and internal tools.
  • Initiate and manage API integration deals with potential and current partners.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ experience successfully managing the full sales cycle within the travel industry, especially in B2B business development and account management.
  • Deep familiarity with Mexico and Caribbean travel markets and relevant B2B networks.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of working time.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable making data-driven decisions and working with metrics.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and driven personality with a focus on achieving results and adapting to a dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative team player with an appetite for innovative technology.
  • International outlook with the capacity to navigate diverse cultural contexts.
  • Experience with API technology deals is advantageous.
