Business Development Manager - E-commerce

Role Overview

This position is based in Germany and supports the growth of e-commerce channels by fostering partnerships with local brands, distributors, and retail outlets. The manager will ensure smooth ongoing relations with partners, troubleshoot any cooperation difficulties, and drive business development plans to expand market presence.

Key Duties

• Assist in developing the e-commerce channel within the German market by expanding collaborations with local brands, distributors, and offline retailers.
• Maintain and enhance existing partner relationships, addressing and resolving any conflicts.
• Implement business development strategies aimed at accomplishing expansion goals.
• Keep abreast of trends and competitors in the German e-commerce sector.
• Coordinate with the corporate headquarters regarding progress and local operations.

Required Qualifications

• Must be resident in Germany with no visa sponsorship provided; candidates must have German citizenship or permanent residency.
• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree.
• Have more than five years of business development or sales experience within Germany.
• Demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Be knowledgeable about cross-border e-commerce business models.
• Fluent in both German and English languages.
• Highly self-driven with a strong focus on achieving targets.
