Business Analyst - Software

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team in Brisbane and contribute to producing outstanding products and solutions. In this role, you will work at the intersection of business and technology, closely collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to capture requirements and translate them into innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain deep understanding of the Supply Chain software product, including its features, legislative and compliance requirements, and specific industry or regional nuances.
• Partner with Product Owners, customers, and development teams throughout the software lifecycle to document user needs, write test cases, and use structured design methods to convey customer requirements.
• Assist in designing new functionality and collaborate with developers to break down designs for implementation.
• Lead workshops with internal and external customers to validate that product designs are aligned with their needs.
• Perform Business Acceptance Testing by executing critical functional tests to ensure software quality, stability, and alignment with business requirements, confirming no high-severity issues.
• Occasionally undertake functional quality assurance and regression testing as required by the development team.
• Collaborate with the Product Success team to create enablement materials that support product rollout and user adoption both internally and externally.
• Deliver presentations and facilitate forums to update stakeholders on new product capabilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant academic degree and/or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience with supply chain product features, functions, and compliance regulations, ideally familiar with TechnologyOne software offerings.
• Comfortable using industry-standard analysis tools and methodologies.
• Excellent time management skills with effective prioritization capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Demonstrated presentation skills and experience facilitating workshops and group discussions.
