Position Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will join the Project Management Office (PMO) team, reporting to the Executive Director, to support project delivery by analyzing business needs, providing operational assistance, and coordinating among diverse projects and stakeholders.

  • Examining and mapping business processes and workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum educational and experiential criteria include:

  • A master's degree in computer science plus three years of progressive full-time IT experience encompassing applications development, systems development, networking, database administration, or user services, including at least 18 months in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Or a bachelor's degree with at least four years of similarly progressive IT experience.
  • Or a high school diploma or equivalent with six years of relevant IT experience.
  • A combination of education and experience meeting these standards is acceptable, provided the candidate has at minimum a high school diploma and three years of pertinent experience including managerial or supervisory roles.

Undergraduate and graduate credits may substitute part of the experience requirement, except managerial experience cannot be substituted.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing.
  • Capability to manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle to deployment.
  • Experience assembling and leading project teams based on scope and delivery needs.
  • Skilled in coordinating communications such as meetings, agendas, and action tracking.
