The current opening is at the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara.

Position Summary

The Buggy Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electric and gasoline-powered buggies or golf carts utilized in hospitality and operational settings like resorts, events, airports, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on buggies and golf carts to ensure reliability.
• Diagnose issues related to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair components including batteries, motors, controllers, brakes, steering, suspension, and lighting.
• Perform routine inspections and verify safety standards.
• Replace faulty parts and components as needed.
• Manage charging systems and monitor battery condition.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and service records.
• Ensure vehicles remain clean, functional, and ready for daily use.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
• Comply with workplace safety rules and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Prior experience with maintenance of golf carts, buggies, or small vehicles.
• Understanding of electric vehicle systems and skills in battery troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Basic knowledge of wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Possession of a valid driving license is advantageous.
