Biological Scientist – Microbiology (Remote Contract)

Role Overview

This position seeks a microbiologist to conduct detailed investigations into the development, morphology, and behaviors of microscopic organisms such as bacteria, fungi, and algae. The contracted role offers $70 to $90 per hour and allows remote work commitments ranging from 10 to 40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze microbial development and physiological characteristics including bacterial, fungal, and algal species.
• Support research related to microorganism-disease interactions within medical microbiology projects.
• Evaluate impacts of antibiotics and other substances on microbial populations to aid AI model precision.
• Meticulously document experimental data and procedures tailored for AI training datasets.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold scientific quality and robust data practices in AI initiatives.
• Share expert insights on microbiological phenomena relating both to practical biological contexts and computational applications.
• Apply predefined rubrics and assessment standards to verify data integrity supporting AI training processes.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or closely related disciplines.
• Comprehensive understanding of microscopic bacterial, fungal, and algal systems.
• Proven skills investigating microbial structural and functional aspects.
• Effective written and oral communication abilities to facilitate interdisciplinary cooperation.
• Capacity to clearly record findings and experimental protocols for AI integration.
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating in an entirely remote and technologically oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring scientific rigor and precision.
