Role overview

We are looking for a bartender to join the team at Hotel Ritter Durbach in Durbach, Baden-Württemberg. In this position, you will help deliver a smooth bar experience, look after guests, and maintain high standards in service and presentation.

Key duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks.
• Take care of guests at the bar and ensure they feel well attended to.
• Develop seasonal cocktail and beverage menus.
• Train service staff in cocktail preparation and drink knowledge.
• Handle ordering tasks and stocktaking.
• Monitor budgets and control costs.
• Follow service, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
• Restock the bar as needed.
• Ensure the bar runs smoothly and efficiently throughout service.

• Strong cocktail knowledge and an eagerness to try new ideas.
• Flexibility and willingness to support the service and conference teams when needed.
• A careful eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Enjoyment of working as part of a team.
• A friendly, welcoming manner and confidence in dealing with people.
• Good German language skills at B2 level; additional languages are an advantage.
