Job Overview

This role entails preparing a variety of doughs and batters for baked goods such as pies, bread, rolls, muffins, cookies, and cakes, including icings and frostings, following specific recipes and customer requests. The position requires on-site work with no remote option.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs and batters for various baked products as per recipes or custom orders.
• Manage requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for baking.
• Bake doughs and batters to completion.
• Handle special customer orders.
• Supervise baking and kitchen staff.
• Decorate and frost cakes and other baked items.
• Train bakery staff members.
• Ensure products consistently meet quality standards.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas for compliance and cleanliness.
• Operate baking machinery and equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory stock.
• Check products for defects to maintain quality.
• Plan production schedules and assign duties for smooth operations.
