Role Summary

The Automotive Porter is essential in enhancing the repair quality by preparing customer vehicles before delivery, maintaining cleanliness of customer cars and facilities, and supporting various operational tasks around the shop and office.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently implement the WOW (Wow Operating Way) standards in daily tasks.
• Keep the office interior clean by emptying trash, dusting surfaces, and cleaning floors every day.
• Maintain cleanliness in the production area by disposing of waste, sweeping, organizing tools and equipment, and removing unwanted vehicle parts.
• Manage outdoor maintenance including tidying parking lots and grounds, and shoveling sidewalks when needed.
• Perform pre-wash of vehicles prior to repair work starting.
• Conduct thorough external and internal cleaning of vehicles once repairs are finished.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet repair locations as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior automotive experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must possess clear close vision.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands

• Capable of pushing, pulling, and carrying objects.
• Ability to walk or stand for over 5 hours daily.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranging between $14 and $18, depending on skills, education, and experience. Bonus programs based on individual and business performance may be available.
