Automotive General Manager

Role Overview

Alloy Automotive Partners is hiring a full-time Automotive General Manager for its Cypress, TX location. This is a high-volume, high-performing store where the expectation is to build on an already strong team and help set the standard for how the company operates across the market and beyond. The position offers an OTE of $150,000+.

What You Will Do

You will oversee a successful shop and raise performance even further through strong leadership, operational discipline, and customer focus. The role involves guiding the team, improving execution, and working closely with senior leadership on new ideas and rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Run the shop’s day-to-day operations and keep everything moving smoothly.
• Recruit, hire, and retain strong advisors and technicians so the location stays fully staffed and high-performing.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen performance and leadership capability.
• Improve results across sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong standards for quality, organization, and workplace safety.
• Manage scheduling, inventory, and workflow planning.
• Work with leadership on new initiatives and company-wide rollouts.
• Ensure customers consistently receive an outstanding experience.
• Support the company’s mission, values, and long-term growth objectives.

Requirements

• Background managing a high-performing, high-level operation in the automotive sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop people effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good interpersonal judgment.
• High personal accountability and a strong sense of ownership.
• Practical, solution-oriented thinking when challenges come up.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to handle the essential duties of the job, including grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting more than 50 pounds, bending, and reaching overhead.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
