Role Summary

The Automobile Claims Adjuster position involves managing motor vehicle damage claims for policyholders throughout Europe. Key duties include documenting claims, evaluating damage extent, assisting clients during the claims process, and ensuring timely and effective settlement of claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and logging claims reports submitted by policyholders or claimants.
• Verifying insurance coverage and assessing damage details while promptly addressing claims processing inquiries.
• Evaluating damage and processing settlements in line with legal standards and company policies.
• Engaging experts, authorizing vehicle repairs, and coordinating with partner workshops as needed.
• Independently managing straightforward damage cases.
• Executing claims settlement for policyholders.
• Handling claims involving German and other European contexts, working closely with agents throughout Europe.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient with information technology systems, especially Microsoft Office applications.
• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally within the insurance industry.
• At least two years' experience involving customer interactions is preferred.
• Native-level fluency in German, both oral and written.
• Fluency in English, encompassing both spoken and written communication.
