Role Overview

The Associate Solution Engineer works closely with Sales and Presales teams in a techno-commercial role, focusing on strategies that align customer needs with BMC's Control M product suite to automate critical workflows and data pipelines for large enterprises. This role involves significant customer engagement, technical presentations, proposal support, and product demonstration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire hands-on experience throughout the sales cycle by contributing technical insights and understanding customer requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify customer challenges and develop solutions delivering both business and technical value.
• Communicate complex technologies clearly and engagingly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in major enterprise sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and advanced technologies.
• Engage in customer meetings as a developing subject matter expert linking customer goals to BMC solutions.
• Prepare and present technical presentations and demos tailored to customer priorities and real use cases.
• Represent BMC at customer events, industry gatherings, and internal knowledge sessions.
• Support requests for proposals by collecting information, clarifying client needs, and providing accurate technical insights.
• Contribute to the creation of product content such as blogs, whitepapers, and training materials to educate and motivate customers.
• Learn to install, configure, and demonstrate solutions through proof-of-concept initiatives aligned to specific customer requirements.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is approximately €41,100 to €68,500 annually, dependent on various factors including skills and experience. This is one component of a broader compensation package that may include variable pay and region-specific benefits.
