Associate Lead Design - ELV/Telecom

About the Role

This position focuses on telecom design and implementation for data center environments. The role calls for a strong understanding of telecom systems and supporting infrastructure, along with the ability to work across functions so projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

What You Will Do

• Support the planning, design, and rollout of telecom infrastructure in data centers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather telecom requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
• Offer technical input to help telecom projects move successfully from concept through execution and closure.
• Carry out regular checks and audits of telecom systems, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes that improve performance and efficiency.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and quality expectations to support smooth and disciplined delivery.
• Contribute to onboarding and capability building for new team members as the design team grows.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and vendors to collect design inputs, share progress updates, and support decision-making.
• Promote a digital-first mindset and stay current with digital and AI developments to help the business stay competitive.

Experience and Qualification

The role requires 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in telecom design and infrastructure management, ideally within data center environments. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics & Telecom or Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics & Telecommunications. A professional certification in Telecommunications or Data Center Design is preferred.
