Job description

Job Overview

The Associate Cabin Crew Control Centre is responsible for managing crew rosters and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements under the Air Navigation Act (ANR). This role demands thorough understanding of rostered duty codes, Singapore Airlines (SQ) aircraft equipment, crew complement requirements, and Crew's Operating Patterns (COPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update crew schedules daily using the Crew Manager (CM) system for tracking and verifying alerts related to ANR, rest periods, operational and flight recency, and promptly resolve any issues to prevent violations.
  • Handle adjustments of rosters due to medical leave and standby activations while ensuring all flights operate with full crew complement by managing standby resources; report any crew shortage reasons.
  • Implement Load Based Variable Manning according to passenger load and aircraft types, organize COPs for standby activations and training crew outside office hours, monitor crew complement for VVIP and chartered flights, and arrange tickets for crew positioning as needed.
  • Submit daily APIS, APP, and CTA documentation to relevant overseas authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Resolve operational challenges including flight delays, diversions, AOG situations, aircraft changes, rescheduling, and cancellations while ensuring adherence to ANR rules regarding Flight Duty Period (FDP), Flight Time Limitations (FTL), rest rules, and Collective Agreements.
  • Address crew requests expediently and respectfully, including medical leave, off-day and annual leave requests, compassionate leave, CSR day, flight recency requests, and manage crew resignations and duty/training deassignments.
  • Maintain control center operations by upholding service, safety, and quality standards related to crew step downs, staff ID loss, safety equipment, work permits, passports, and visa compliance.
  • Support IT system implementation and improvements such as Crew App, Crew Manager (CMX), and Crew Notifications (CNC).
  • Assist Duty Manager or Duty AO in managing medical emergencies involving crew members and collaborate with the Crisis Management team during incidents as per the Crisis Management Manual.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Control Centre Senior Manager, CCE/AM, including conducting operations staff training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Possession of a diploma in any discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing operational exigencies.

Working Hours

Shift work is required with 12-hour shifts: 0800 to 2000 hours and 2000 to 0800 hours the following day.
