Role overview
Noel Leeming is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the delivery of excellent technology and appliance retail experiences. This position plays an important part in leading the store team, keeping operations running smoothly, and ensuring customers receive helpful service from first contact through to after-sales support.
Key duties
- Help build a varied and motivated team while contributing to a workplace culture where people feel respected and supported.
- Support sales growth and uphold strong store presentation standards while keeping customer satisfaction and loyalty high.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver strong results and contribute positively to the overall team environment.
- Step in with accountability and sound judgement to keep the store operating effectively when the Store Manager is unavailable.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will bring previous leadership or supervisory experience, ideally alongside retail exposure. Strong communication skills are important for guiding staff and engaging customers. You should be able to foster a sales-focused environment through teamwork, put plans into action effectively to improve performance and profitability, and deal with customer concerns in a calm and professional manner. A solid understanding of health and safety practices is also needed to help keep both staff and shoppers safe.
