Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for evaluating project blueprints and specifications, estimating associated costs, preparing project proposals, and submitting bids for industrial projects within hth's operating sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cost analyses and estimate projected expenses for upcoming projects.
- Design and maintain KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards to monitor project progress company-wide.
- Develop visual aids such as charts and reports to analyze trends and effectively communicate performance data.
- Prepare presentations sharing key project insights and metrics with stakeholders.
- Formulate and manage project budgets aligned with estimates.
- Visit project sites and engage with current and potential clients.
- Submit bids suited to the industrial environments where hth operates.
- Place orders for necessary materials and equipment; coordinate scheduling of staff and client activities to meet project requirements.
- Review engineered drawings to verify accurate bidding and ongoing project execution.
- Conduct risk evaluations, report findings to management, and recommend mitigation strategies, including project termination if warranted.
- Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints throughout project lifecycles.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients and vendors.
- Serve as liaison between the company, clients, and vendors.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices at federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company levels.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- One to two years of relevant work experience or equivalent educational background.
- Possession of PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar project management certifications is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- High organizational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of safety protocols, principles, and procedures.
- Effective time management skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Capability to perform well in fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environments.
