Assistant Professor - Electronics & Communication Engineering (Diploma)

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Professor to teach and mentor diploma students in Electronics & Communication Engineering at our Delhi campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and hands-on experience with embedded systems and communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures on diploma courses including Basic Electronics Components, Electronic Devices & Circuits, Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, Communication Systems, Embedded Systems, and Industrial Electronics.
• Conduct both theoretical classes and comprehensive laboratory sessions.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, create teaching material, assignments, and question papers.
• Assess student performance through internal evaluations and practical exams.
• Guide students in mini-projects, industrial training, and seminars.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and keep accurate records.
• Mentor students for placements, internships, and technical contests.
• Coordinate industrial visits, guest lectures, and workshops.
• Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the department head.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related fields.
• Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) preferred.
• Qualification should comply with AICTE or State Technical Education standards.
• Approximately 4 years of teaching or industry experience; freshers may be considered based on institute policies.
• Preferable experience working with diploma-level students and expertise in electronics, embedded systems, PCB design, or communication systems.
• Proficient knowledge of analog and digital electronics concepts.
• Practical experience with electronic instruments and laboratory equipment.
• Familiarity with platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and embedded systems, plus simulation software such as Proteus, Multisim, and MATLAB.
• Strong communication skills and effective classroom management abilities.
• Ability to inspire diploma students with hands-on practical teaching methods.

Compensation

The monthly salary is between INR 10,000 and INR 15,000.
