Assistant Manager/Manager - Cellular and RF Management

About the Role

Join our team as an Assistant Manager/Manager specializing in Cellular and Radio Frequency (RF) Management. This position involves conducting detailed technical research and evaluations within the RF spectrum, focusing on enhancing cellular network coverage and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive technical studies, analyses, and investigations within the RF domain including audits and measurements of cellular network coverage and performance, as well as resolving RF co-existence issues.
• Execute on-site RF tasks independently, which include conducting RF measurements and investigations. This responsibility entails collaboration with government agencies, mobile network operators, important partners, and members of the public.
• Be available to carry out RF investigations after office hours for urgent situations that require timely attention.
• Provide support for various RF-related projects as necessary.
• Undertake administrative duties to assist the team and the division’s primary functions when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or alternatively, a diploma accompanied by over five years of pertinent experience.
• Have a strong understanding of the RF domain and communication system characteristics.
• Proficient in utilizing standard office productivity software.
• Exhibit excellent skills in written and verbal communication as well as in presentations.
• Demonstrate robust conceptual thinking and analytical abilities.
• Holding a Class 3 driver’s license is considered a beneficial addition.
• Be proactive, attentive to detail, and an effective team player.
