Job Overview

The Assistant Manager - Telesales will lead key sales operations, overseeing team performance and client relationships to meet company targets. This role demands expertise in telesales, leadership skills, and capability to perform in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless operations with prompt SLA compliance and uphold high customer and employee satisfaction levels.
  • Manage B2C sales activities for insurance verticals such as Health, Motor, and Life policies.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships through regular engagement.
  • Strategize allocation of resources, set performance goals, and actively monitor sales outcomes.
  • Oversee staff attendance, scheduling, and productivity documentation.
  • Conduct routine client meetings to align expectations and report progress.
  • Resolve issues identified via audits and pursue continuous process enhancements.
  • Provide leadership through mentoring team leads and addressing internal queries timely.
  • Serve as the main contact point addressing business-specific questions or challenges.
  • Undertake special business projects as required.

Information Security Management System (ISMS) Duties

  • Follow guidelines from Function Heads and operate designated systems accordingly.
  • Offer technical advice to Function Heads to align information systems with business goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company information assets.
  • Take responsibility for the safeguarding and operation of information resources.
  • Execute delegated tasks effectively under supervision of Function Heads.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficient in team management practices, including conducting meetings and performance appraisals, ensuring staff meet benchmarks.
  • Experience in recruitment, coaching, and mentoring for employee development.
  • Established success in telesales, ideally in Health, Motor, or Life Insurance sectors.
  • Strong abilities in monitoring, calibrating employee output and aligning it with organizational goals.
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving performance issues.
  • Capability to excel under sales pressure with a result-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill set.
  • Competent in external and managerial reporting.
  • Leadership qualities to foster and nurture high-performing teams.
