Responsibilities
- Support and help lead the team managing strategic client accounts within the assigned region.
- Drive business expansion by acquiring new clients and nurturing fresh opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate and confirm customer requirements to ensure alignment with the company’s solutions.
- Maintain full compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards during all customer engagements and operations.
- Promote ongoing communication among internal stakeholders to foster process improvements.
- Analyze the supply chain needs of major customers to uncover potential value-adding opportunities.
- Contribute to achieving set KPIs by winning additional business and retaining current customers.
- Establish and sustain strong networks within customer organizations, highlighting the benefits delivered by DHL Supply Chain.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc performance reports for strategic accounts, summarizing results and insights.
- Track operational metrics and assist in enhancing customer satisfaction levels.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure prompt billing alongside effective management of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Assist in monitoring the performance of all operational partners against agreed service metrics for customers.
Requirements
- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), or supply chain sectors with significant exposure to customer management and business development.
- Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution in areas related to supply chain or logistics.
- Exceptional customer relationship management and negotiation skills across all management levels.
- Ability to provide customer-centric services while effectively managing expectations.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in motivating and managing teams.
- Proven track record in driving improvements in operational performance and customer service.
- Competence in preparing and delivering reports to diverse stakeholders.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
