Assistant Manager

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by coordinating operations and managing assigned tasks for the team.
• Oversee daily store operations including cost control, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations.
• Foster the development of future managers by leading by example and mentoring team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards within the team.
• Encourage current staff and actively recruit new talent.
• Manage staffing schedules, complete necessary paperwork, oversee food handling and safety, and promote time management and professional appearance.
• Maintain the Domino's brand image, deliver excellent customer service, and execute effective service recovery when needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness and support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Essential Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of operational tasks with the ability to train others effectively.
• Proficiency in operating store equipment and managing product preparation efficiently and accurately.
• Competence in receiving, processing telephone orders, and handling inventory alongside associated documentation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and accurate handling of monetary transactions, potentially supported by a calculator.
• Manual dexterity and motor coordination to perform tasks rapidly and precisely.
• Familiarity with computerized order entry systems using keyboards or touch screens.
