Assistant Engineering Manager - HVAC

Role Overview

The Assistant Engineering Manager in HVAC will focus on creating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning designs that prioritize energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system dependability by delivering optimized solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct heat load assessments, determine appropriate duct sizes, and select suitable HVAC equipment.
• Develop schematic layouts, prepare Bills of Quantities, and generate comprehensive technical documentation for submittals.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and architectural teams to manage system routing effectively.
• Evaluate vendor information and assist with commissioning-related paperwork.

Stakeholder Interaction

The role involves engagement with internal teams such as HVAC Leads, BIM coordinators, and Project Engineers, as well as external parties like clients, consultants, and suppliers, to ensure alignment and coordination across all stages.

Knowledge and Experience

• Required educational qualification is a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional experience ranging between 5 to 8 years in HVAC design projects.
• Proficiency in English and the local language to enable smooth onsite coordination.
• Hands-on experience with software tools like HAP, TRACE, AutoCAD, and Revit is essential.
