Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical team member based in Dublin to join our UK and Ireland Architectural Team. This role involves contributing to an array of projects including Healthcare, Education, Transportation, and Mixed-Use developments both locally and throughout the UK. You will be part of a dynamic, creative group focused on innovative design and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of developing, coordinating, and leading detailed design and construction phases across various projects, delivering high quality technical outputs and managing complex projects independently and collaboratively.
- Manage every aspect of project delivery including detailed design development, preparation of working drawings, contract administration, and onsite services.
- Address and resolve complex technical and design challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare site review documentation.
- Handle construction change control requests and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Comply with quality management, environmental management, and health & safety systems and procedures.
- Advocate and continuously improve the use of appropriate systems, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist project teams with programming, resource allocation, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in sectors such as health, education, and scientific projects within the UK.
- Membership with MCIAT or equivalent regional accreditation preferred.
- Proven experience working on larger projects within teams and providing daily leadership on smaller projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Revit and experience handling complex BIM Level 2 projects.
- Strong understanding of building regulations, design standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organisational aptitude and superior written and verbal communication skills.
