Arabic Speaking Technical Trainer and Workshop Supervisor - Automotive

Role Overview

We are actively seeking an experienced Arabic proficient Technical Trainer and Workshop Supervisor to join the Aftersales team of our client in Dubai. This role is perfect for an automotive expert with substantial workshop leadership experience who is eager to nurture and develop technical talent within the automotive sector. The individual will manage workshop operations while delivering comprehensive technical training to ensure technician adherence to OEM standards and ongoing skill enhancement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop activities, ensuring optimal productivity, operational efficiency, and quality standards in line with OEM requirements.
• Offer expert technical advice and support regarding diagnostics, repairs, and handling complex technical challenges to technicians.
• Design, plan, and present technical training modules tailored for Technicians, Team Leaders, Service Advisors, and Technical Support personnel.
• Conduct various training formats including classroom instruction, practical demonstration, and hands-on on-job training sessions.
• Identify areas of training necessities through evaluating performance metrics and observing workshop operations.
• Track trainee development and assess the effectiveness of training programs continuously.
• Facilitate the integration of new vehicle technologies, diagnostic tools, products, and service methodologies within the workshop environment.
• Maintain comprehensive records of training sessions, certifications, and prepare workshop performance documentation.
• Champion a culture rooted in continuous learning, workplace safety, and operational excellence.
• Undertake additional duties as needed to support the smooth functioning of the Aftersales division.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Possession of an OEM Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certification is highly advantageous.
• At least 5 years' professional experience in automotive workshop management with demonstrated supervisory duties.
• Prior experience in providing technical training within automotive dealerships or OEM environments.
• Strong expertise in passenger vehicle diagnostic systems, repair techniques, and workshop best practice implementation.
• Excellent leadership capabilities, coaching skills, along with effective presentation and communication talents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) considered a plus.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
