Role Overview

The Application Analyst role embodies Northwestern Medicine's mission, vision, and values, strictly adhering to the organization's Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program, and regulatory standards. As part of the Information Services team, this position supports innovative technological solutions that drive healthcare transformation and ensure seamless integration of systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for assigned applications and systems.
• Collaborate with the team to monitor system performance, analyze issues, and plan necessary upgrades.
• Manage the production issue queue, promptly resolving problems while maintaining established Customer Service Level Agreements.
• Carry out project-related tasks as assigned to contribute to organizational objectives.
• Maintain and improve quality assurance standards, development processes, and delivery methodologies.
• Integrate end-user requests with software functionality through continuous process improvements.
• Analyze application builds and system functionalities, offering recommendations to enhance reliability for current and future needs.
• Apply diagnostic expertise to identify and resolve issues across the Northwestern Medicine HealthCare distributed system environment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems availability.
• Assist in maintaining detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 5 years in a relevant discipline.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree.
