About the Role
A prominent global investment platform specializing in real assets and private markets is looking for a talented Analyst to join its Digital Infrastructure investment team. The focus is on scalable, technology-enabled real estate and infrastructure strategies, such as data centers and digital operating platforms.
This position offers a fast-paced, analytically intensive experience encompassing acquisitions, development-led projects, and asset management in a rapidly expanding sector. The analyst will collaborate closely with senior colleagues throughout the entire investment lifecycle, from underwriting to execution and ongoing portfolio oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members in identifying and assessing new digital infrastructure investment and acquisition opportunities.
- Build and update financial models and underwriting analyses to evaluate prospective investments.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence covering financial, legal, and operational aspects of opportunities.
- Evaluate single asset and portfolio acquisitions and prepare investment recommendation reports.
- Contribute to the transaction process up to funding stages, including preparing materials for investment committee review.
- Develop clear, concise presentations to convey critical findings and justifications for investments.
- Support asset management efforts like business plan creation and implementing exit strategies.
- Help prepare budgets, capital strategies such as dispositions, refinancing, follow-on acquisitions, and leasing plans.
- Conduct market research and generate insights to support investment decisions.
- Participate in special projects including hold-sell analysis, refinancing options, and sector-specific initiatives for data centers.
- Coordinate with joint venture partners, operators, and external advisors as needed.
- Track business plan performance, highlight deviations, and propose improvements.
- Attend development meetings, review draw requests on repositioning and renovation ventures.
- Analyze design plans, budgets, and timelines to discover value creation possibilities.
- Travel domestically to visit assets and partners when required.
- Support investor reporting through valuation analysis and performance monitoring.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, or infrastructure, with hands-on exposure to financial modeling and transaction assistance.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical ability.
- Sound knowledge of valuation methods and investment principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proactive, collaborative team player who can excel in a fast-moving environment.
