Overview
This opportunity is offered on behalf of a partner organization seeking an AI Adoption Lead to be based in the United States. The primary purpose is to accelerate AI integration within organizations by preparing employees to work effectively alongside AI technologies. The role serves as a critical linkage between AI deployment and achieving tangible business outcomes through workforce readiness and organizational change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise and implement AI adoption strategies within business units in collaboration with change management, facilitating the progression from AI experimentation towards enhanced productivity.
- Build and sustain engagement plans, identify obstacles to adoption, expand influence networks, and establish communities of AI advocates and superusers.
- Analyze the influence of AI on current roles, redesign job functions, and define future human-AI collaboration frameworks.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify evolving workforce demands, career pathways, and transition strategies as AI adoption advances.
- Conduct assessments of AI proficiency across teams to pinpoint skill deficits and design targeted AI learning programs integrated into workflows.
- Provide coaching and training to managers for leading AI-augmented teams effectively.
- Generate workforce planning insights by evaluating future skill requirements, opportunities for automation, and organizational necessities over a 1–3 year horizon.
- Advise executives on organizational structures, operating models, team composition, and processes fostering AI-enabled working environments.
- Champion responsible AI adoption through transparency, trust, governance, and human oversight mechanisms.
- Develop metrics frameworks to monitor AI adoption progress using usage analytics, workforce data, and employee feedback.
- Identify informal AI utilization trends and help formalize these practices into governed, productive solutions.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, HR transformation, workforce strategy, or related disciplines focused on people.
- Proven leadership in overseeing extensive technology or digital transformation initiatives from an organizational and people perspective.
- In-depth knowledge of change management techniques adaptable for AI-driven transformations.
- Experience with workforce planning, organizational and role redesign projects.
- Ability to foster trust and influence at all organizational levels including leaders, managers, and employees.
- Strong analytical capabilities utilizing workforce data and adoption metrics to steer decision-making.
- Practical knowledge of AI tools and enthusiastic about AI-driven ways of working.
- Experience embedding transformation efforts within business units highly preferred.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, automation workflows, human-in-the-loop models, and AI governance policies is a plus.
- Background in learning & development, capability building, or skills-based talent frameworks advantageous.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Competence in applying organizational design concepts to support evolving operational models.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive total earnings target between $130,000 and $150,000 annually, inclusive of base salary and applicable bonuses.
