Agitator Operator

Role Overview

Join the Barminco team as an Agitator Operator, contributing to underground mining projects across multiple Western Australian sites. You will be responsible for operating modern concrete agitator trucks underground to deliver, position, and pour concrete used for mine infrastructure, ground support, and development.

Key Duties

• Drive and operate underground agitator trucks to transport and pour concrete effectively.
• Deliver concrete for essential functions including ground support, slab creation, foundation laying and infrastructure tasks.
• Collaborate with mining crews to accurately and safely place concrete according to project requirements.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance to ensure agitator unit reliability.
• Adhere strictly to underground safety protocols including traffic management and ventilation standards.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience operating agitator trucks, concrete or heavy machinery is essential.
• Solid knowledge of underground mining processes and stringent safety regulations.
• Must hold a valid HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's license plus relevant mining certifications.
• Able to work cooperatively within teams and follow detailed mining operational plans.
