About the Role
Backdropsource, a company specializing in custom backdrops, event displays, and trade show printing, is set to launch a dedicated Affiliate Program. This performance-driven channel will engage third-party publishers, bloggers, consultants, and YouTubers to promote the company's products. We seek an experienced Affiliate Program Manager to establish this channel from scratch, including registering on an affiliate network, recruiting active affiliates, and developing it into a reliable revenue source.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine a competitive industry-standard commission rate.
- Register the affiliate program on an affiliate network to enhance visibility among potential publishers.
- Create a comprehensive promotional kit containing banners, product feeds, pre-written reviews, swipe emails, and individualized tracking codes, collaborating closely with in-house design and content teams.
- Actively recruit affiliates such as event consultants, agency bloggers, church media contacts, school/PTA websites, and photography reviewers, selecting candidates based on geography and relevance.
- Implement and manage tracking systems, attribution models, and margin/commission structures.
- Maintain and nurture affiliate relationships, negotiate agreements, and resolve any disputes effectively.
Skills and Experience Required
- At least five years of professional experience in affiliate marketing or a related domain.
- Proficient in negotiation and managing partnerships with external associates.
- Practical experience with affiliate network or platform administration.
- Expertise in setting up tracking and attribution mechanisms.
- Ability to develop margin and commission models.
- Capability to coordinate creative tasks with designers and copywriters efficiently.
Compensation
The remuneration is competitive aligned with industry standards and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
