Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the APAC Accounts Payable function, overseeing invoice processing, dispute management, and payments across approximately 8-10 APAC countries.
  • Act as the APAC Payments process owner, setting and maintaining best practices, standards, and controls in partnership with regional AP leaders, Global Points of Contact, Treasury, FinTech, and Internal Audit.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Singapore-based APAC AP team responsible for invoice support, resolution, payments, and tax compliance.
  • Handle all personnel management functions, including hiring, onboarding, goal setting, performance evaluations, career development, and business continuity planning.
  • Protect company assets by preventing fraud and ensuring adherence to financial policies and regulations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to create scalable workflows suitable for an expanding regional footprint.
  • Promote adoption of technological innovations that scale and transform Accounts Payable operations.
  • Coordinate with regional AP leaders and other FPO divisions (Procurement Business Partners, Supplier Management, Supplier Diversity) to align with overall strategic objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Treasury departments.
  • Support senior leadership on initiatives such as AP controls development, process standardization, monthly AP close oversight, regulatory reporting, auditor collaboration, business continuity planning, and payment approvals.
  • Participate in APAC Finance Leadership meetings and contribute to the operational design and execution of the Center of Excellence (COE) strategy.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance metrics and service level agreements to measure team success.
