Overview
Devyani International Limited, a prominent franchise partner of KFC operating over 1,500 outlets across India, Nepal, and Nigeria, seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to oversee the comprehensive Accounts Payable functions within its Gurgaon office.
Key Duties
- Oversee the entire Accounts Payable process including invoice validation, accounting entries, and timely disbursements.
- Manage vendor and landlord reconciliations, resolve invoice inconsistencies, and address vendor inquiries.
- Administer payments related to rent, utilities, and operations while monitoring Accounts Payable aging.
- Support lease accounting activities and ensure compliance with month-end and year-end accounting closures along with GST and TDS regulations.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal controls, standard operating procedures, and approval workflows.
- Lead and coordinate the Accounts Payable team ensuring punctual task execution.
- Champion the adoption and enhancement of AP automation via SAP FI, Ariba, S4 HANA, VIMS, Vendor Portal, and automated invoice approval systems.
- Implement improvements to standardize processes and boost efficiency in AP operations.
- Compile and present management reports including AP MIS, aging analysis, and payment status updates.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with specialization in Accounting and Finance; M.Com or MBA (Finance) are desirable.
- Accumulate 5 to 8 years of pertinent experience in Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, and Financial Accounting functions.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing large volumes of invoices, vendor reconciliations, statutory payments, and compliance.
- Have practical knowledge of SAP FI, Ariba, S4 HANA, and other AP automation technologies.
- Experience in sectors such as Retail, Quick Service Restaurants, Hospitality, FMCG, or organizations with multiple locations is an asset.
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities, stakeholder communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
