Role Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Accounting Specialist to join our finance team in Dublin. Reporting to the Controller, this role is vital for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting our educational technology growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform account reconciliations to guarantee data correctness.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Oversee Brex and Rillet platforms for expense management, ensuring precise tracking and reconciliation of employee expenses.
- Work alongside People and Finance departments on payroll and expense coordination.
- Drive improvements in financial workflows and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Completed third-level degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated accounting or finance operations experience, preferably in fast-paced settings.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards; familiarity with FRS 102 is advantageous.
- Proficient in ERP and financial software, notably Rillet.
- Excellent organizational and communication capabilities.
