Role Overview

Join Fruitful Day's accounting team in Dubai as an Accountant responsible for managing a variety of financial activities and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires close coordination with various internal teams to contribute to the company’s ongoing growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, as well as maintaining general ledger entries.
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Perform bank statement reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
Use the Odoo ERP system to manage accounting processes and data entry.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flows effectively.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and applicable tax laws.
Handle employee reimbursement claims and provide payroll support as needed.
Work collaboratively with auditors and external parties during annual audit processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrated accounting experience within the UAE market.
Proficiency with Odoo ERP or equivalent accounting software platforms.
Comprehensive knowledge of UAE VAT, taxation, and statutory reporting obligations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and analytical aptitude.

Desirable Qualifications

Professional credentials such as ACCA, CA, or CPA certifications.
Experience in dynamic SME or multinational business settings.
Familiarity with additional ERP or other accounting software tools.
