Role Overview

The role of Accountant is full-time and based onsite in Dubai. Responsibilities include managing daily financial activities such as transaction recording, ledger maintenance, and preparing regular financial statements. The position handles accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and assists in budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant supports month-end and year-end closing routines, ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and local laws, and supports audit and tax filing preparations. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams to provide financial analysis, track costs, deliver business insights, maintain precise accounting records, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in general accounting duties including financial reporting, ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for supporting decision-making and controlling costs.
• Practical knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems, particularly ZOHO and TALLY, along with strong skills in MS Excel and related office tools.
• Familiarity with UAE or regional accounting standards, tax rules, and regulatory compliance.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining organized and accurate financial information.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and effective time management to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing effective teamwork and clear presentation of financial data.
• Educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications like ACCA or CPA are preferred.
• Prior experience in the consumer electronics, retail, or manufacturing industries, especially within multinational or regional companies, adds value.
