About the Role

We are seeking two enthusiastic Accommodation Assistants to join the Fitzwilton Hotel team at The Met Bar, located on Bridge Street, Waterford. The Fitzwilton Hotel offers a boutique experience with 90 contemporary guestrooms blending traditional wood accents with modern art. Conveniently situated near the train and bus stations, as well as the Waterford Greenway and city shopping areas, it provides an excellent environment for hospitality professionals.

Role Overview

The role requires a professional, dependable individual who excels in communication and can effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting. You will operate under accommodation management guidance, ensuring high cleanliness standards throughout guest areas and public spaces, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends across all departmental functions.
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality standards under pressure.
• Inspect and clean guest rooms and public areas following hotel standard operating procedures.
• Support daily operational planning and coordinate workloads among accommodation assistants.
• Attend management meetings and briefings as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours and days.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Customer-oriented mindset with willingness to go beyond expectations.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in the hospitality sector is desirable but not mandatory.
