Role Overview

As an Academic Advisor at Bridgeway Academy, your primary role will be to provide tailored academic support to students and their families. You will develop strong relationships, guide personalized course planning, and help ensure student success both academically and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate student onboarding and deliver continuous advising support to students and their families.
• Establish trusted relationships to assist with individualized course selection and goal setting.
• Maintain regular communication, keep accurate records, and deliver service that meets Bridgeway’s Standards of Excellence.
• Collaborate with caregivers as partners in education and contribute to enrollment and community engagement efforts.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards including NCAA and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in academic advising, homeschool support, educational counseling, or related roles.
• Possession of clearances for FBI background check, Child Abuse, and State requirements.
• Preferably experienced with online learning platforms and environments.
• Current residence must be within one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia.

• Strong critical thinking, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with management systems, learning management systems (LMS), digital tools, and record keeping.
